As you can figure out from .vaani’s post, “how you been” or “where you been” would be wrong as they are. Correct usage is “How have you been” and “where have you been”.

@.vaani, very good work. Let me add something here:
“How have you been?” is a complete question in itself, it does not need to be a part of another sentence.
