Hi friend’s please tell me the use of
1) Has
2) has been
3) Have
4) Have been
5) Had
6) had been
With example cause really i am confused about this.
I’ll try…..most times when you add the word “been” it refers to something that already happened, or happened in the past. “Been” is the “past participle” of the word “be”
Examples with sentences:
He has a bad temper. (means he gets mad or upset easily)
He has been in trouble because of his bad temper (means he has been in trouble in the past because of his temper.)
I have a cold.
I have been sick with a cold for 2 weeks (means I been sick for the past 2 weeks)
I had a chance to get a new job.
I had been studying all week to try and get this new job. (means to have studied in the past week).
I have a call in to you. (i called you today, or very recently)
I have been trying to call you. (means to have called over a period of time in the past, maybe a few days or even longer.)
Hope that helps!!
