शान्तं पद्मासनस्थं शशधरमकुटं पञ्चवक्त्रं त्रिनेत्रं ।

Calm, seated in the Padmasana pose, bearing the moon as the head-ornament, five-faced, three-eyed
Holding the trident, thunderbolt, sword , axe and abhaya-hasta on His right side
Holding the snake, noose, bell, fire of pralaya along with the ankusha (elephant-goad) on His left hands
Adorned with various ornaments, pure as crystal, I salute the Lord of Parvati (who is thus)
meaning :
I prostrate myself before the five-faced Lord of Parvati,
who is adorned with various ornaments, who shines like the crystal jewel,
who is seated peacefully in the lotus pose, with moon-crested crown,
with three eyes, wearing trident, thunderbolt, sword and axe on the right side,
who holds the serpent, noose, bell, damaru and spear on the left side,
and who gives protection from all fear to His devotees
