नहर (Canal) जल परिवहन तथा स्थानान्तरण का मानव-निर्मित संरचना है। नहर शब्द से ऐसे जलमार्ग का बोध होता है, जो प्राकृतिक न होकर, मानवनिर्मित होता है। मुख्यत: इसका प्रयोग खेती के लिए जल को एक स्थान से दूसरे स्थान तक पहुँचाने में किया जाता है। नहरें नदियो के जल को सिंचाई हेतु विभिन्न क्षेत्रो तक पहुंचाती हैं। ऐसे जलमार्ग प्राचीन समय से बनते रहे हैं।
