क्या उन लोगों ने इतना भी ख्याल न किया कि आख़िर उनके रफीक़ मोहम्मद को कुछ जुनून तो नहीं वह तो बस खुल्लम खुल्ला अज़ाबे ख़ुदा से डराने वाले हैं

क्या उनके दिलों में रोग है या वे सन्देह में पड़े हुए है या उनको यह डर है कि अल्लाह औऱ उसका रसूल उनके साथ अन्याय करेंगे? नहीं, बल्कि बात यह है कि वही लोग अत्याचारी हैं

और (ऐ रसूल) जो उम्मतें तुमसे पहले गुज़र चुकी हैं हम उनके पास भी बहुतेरे रसूल भेज चुके हैं फिर (जब नाफ़रमानी की) तो हमने उनको सख्ती
Each sign We showed them was more marvelous than its counterpart. And We afflicted them with the plagues, so that they may repent.
और हम उन्हें जो निशानी भी दिखाते वह अपने प्रकार की पहली निशानी से बढ़-चढ़कर होती और हमने उन्हें यातना से ग्रस्त कर लिया, ताकि वे रुजू करें
