भेषजज्ञ स्वास्थ्य सेवा से सम्बन्धित उन व्यावसायिक व्यक्तियों को कहते हैं जिनका कार्य दवाओं के सुरक्षित एवं प्रभावोत्पादक उपयोग पर केन्द्रित है। संस्कृत में भेषज का ज्ञान रखने वाले को 'भिषक' कहा जाता है। फार्मासिस्ट समाज की एक मजबूत कड़ी है। फार्मासिस्ट को दवा की त्रुटियों का सम्पूर्ण ज्ञान होता है जैसे कि- नुक्सान, फायदे, उपयोग करने का तरीका इत्यादि।
