नकल NOUN

1. ? वह जो सच्चा, खरा या असल न हो बल्कि असल को देखकर रूप, रंग, आकृति आदि में उसी के अनुसार बनाया गया हो । वह जो किसी दूसरे के ढंग पर या उसकी तरह तैयार किया गया हो । अनुकृति । कापी । जैसे,—(क) वह मकान उस सामनेवाले ती नकल है । (ख) इस नकल ने तो असल को भी मात कर दिया ।
2. एक के अनुरूप दूसरी वस्तु बनाने का कार्य । अनुकरण३. लेख आदि की अक्षरशः प्रतिलिपि । कापी । जैसे,—(क) इस शिलालेख की एक नकल हमारे पास भी आई है । (ख) इस दस्तावेज की नकल करा लो तो बड़ा काम हो ।४. किसी के वेश, हाव भाव या बातचीत आदि का पूरा पूरा अनुकरण । स्वाँग । जैसे,—(क) वह उनकी खूब नकल उता- रता है । (ख) कल महफिल में भाँड़ों ने नवाब साहब की एक बहुत अच्छी नकल की थी ।
3. अद्भुत और हास्यजनक आकृति । जैसे,—आज तो आप बिल- कुल नकल बनकर आए है ।
4. हास्य़ रस की कोई छोटी मोटी कहानी या बात चीत । चुटकुला ।
