Acupressure is an alternative medicine technique often used in conjunction with acupuncture or reflexology. It is based on the concept of life energy, which flows through "meridians" in the body. In treatment, physical pressure is applied to acupuncture points, or ashi trigger points, with the aim of clearing blockages in these meridians. Pressure may be applied by hand, by elbow, or with various devices.

एक्यूप्रेशर शरीर के विभिन्न हिस्सों के महत्वपूर्ण बिंदुओं पर दबाव डालकर रोग के निदान करने की विधि है। एक्युप्रेशर काउंसिल नेचुआजलालपुर के संस्थापक डा0 श्री प्रकाश बरनवाल का कहना है कि मानव शरीर पैर से लेकर सिर तक आपस में जुड़ा है तथा हजारों नसें, रक्त धमनियों, मांसपेशियां, स्नायु और हड्डियों के साथ आँख नाक कान हृदय फेेेेफडे दाॅॅॅत नाडी आदि आपस में मिलकर मानव शरीर के स्वचालित मशीन को बखूबी चलाती हैं। अत: किसी एक बिंदु पर दबाव डालने से उससे जुड़ा पूरा भाग प्रभावित होता है। यह भारत की प्राचीन चिकित्सा पद्धति है।
