ಸ್ನಾನವು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯವಾಗಿ ನೀರು ಅಥವಾ ಜಲೀಯ ದ್ರಾವಣದಂತಹ ಒಂದು ದ್ರವದಲ್ಲಿ ಶರೀರದ ನಿಮಜ್ಜನ. ಅದನ್ನು ನೈರ್ಮಲ್ಯ, ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಅಥವಾ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಕ ಉದ್ದೇಶಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಅಥವಾ ಒಂದು ಮನರಂಜನಾ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಯಾಗಿ ರೂಢಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿರಬಹುದು. ಕೆಲವು ಸ್ಪಾ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳು ಚಾಕಲಿಟ್ ಅಥವಾ ಕೆಸರಿನಂತಹ ಇತರ ವಿವಿಧ ದ್ರವಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನಾನ ಸೌಕರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸುತ್ತವೆ.

Bathing is the act of washing the body, usually with water, or the immersion of the body in water. It may be for personal hygiene, religious ritual or therapeutic purposes. By analogy, especially as a recreational activity, the term is also applied to sun bathing and sea bathing.
