A lakh (; abbreviated L; sometimes written lac) is a unit in the Indian numbering system equal to one hundred thousand (100,000; scientific notation: 10⁵). In the Indian 2,2,3 convention of digit grouping, it is written as 1,00,000. For example, in India, 150,000 rupees becomes 1.5 lakh rupees, written as ₹1,50,000 or INR 1,50,000.

लक्षः (आङ्ग्ल: lakh, हिन्दी: लाख; सङ्क्षेपः: L) भारतीयसंख्याव्यवस्थायां एककम् अस्ति, शतसाहस्रं (100,000; वैज्ञानिक संकेतन: 10⁵) तत्तुल्यं भवति । अङ्कीयसमूहस्य भारतीय 2,2,3 सम्मेलने 1,00,000 इति लिख्यते । यथा भारते 150,000 रुप्यकाणि भवन्ति 1.5 लक्षं रुप्यकाणि, ₹1,50,000 अथवा INR 1,50,000 इति लिखितम् ।
