காலடி கேரளாவில் எர்ணாகுளம் மாவட்டத்தில் உள்ள ஓரு ஊர் ஆகும். ஆதிசங்கரர் பிறந்த ஊரான இது இந்து மத மக்களின் ஒரு முக்கிய புனித யாத்திரை வழிபாட்டு தலமாக விளங்குகிறது. இங்கு ஆதிசங்கரர் பிறந்த இடமான பூர்ணா நதிக்கரையில் ஒரு மடமும், காலடி பேருந்து நிறுத்தத்திற்கு அருகில் ஆதிசங்கரரின் வாழ்க்கை வரலாற்றை விவரிக்கும் ஒரு ஸ்தம்ப மண்டபமும் உள்ளது.

Kalady or Kaladi is a town located between Angamaly and Perumbavoor, east of the Periyar river, near to Malayattoor in Ernakulam district of Kerala, India, not far from Cochin International Airport. It is notable as the birthplace of 9th century Indian philosopher Adi Shankara.
