एथेंस जिसे एथीना भी कहा जाता है यूरोपीय देश यूनान की राजधानी एवं वहां का सबसे बड़ा शहर है। यह विश्व के प्राचीनतम शहरों में शुमार होता है। इसका इतिहास तीन हजार वर्ष से भी पुराना है। एथेंस की आबादी २००१ में लगभग ७,४५,५१४ थी।

The Municipality of Athens, which constitutes a small administrative unit of the entire urban area, had a population of 643,452 (2021) within its official limits, and a land area of 38.96 km² (15.04 sq mi).
