परिहार NOUN
- राजपूतों का एक वंश जो अग्निकुल के अंतर्गत माना जाता है । विशेष—इस वंश के राजपूतों द्वारा कोई बड़ा राज्य हस्तगत या स्थापित किए जाने का प्रमाण अबतक नहीं मिला है, तथापि छोटे छोटे अनेक राज्यों पर इनका आधिपत्य रह चुका है । २४९ ई० में कालिंजर का राज्य इसी वंशवालों के हाथ में था जिसको कलचुरि वंश के किसी राज्य ने जीतकर छीन लिया । सन् ११२९ से १२११ तक इस वंश के ७ राजाओं ने ग्वालियर पर राज्य किया था । कर्नल टाड ने अपने राजस्थान के इतिहास में जोधपुर के समीपवर्ती मंदरव (मंद्रोद्रि) स्थान के विषय में वहाँ मिले हुए चिह्नों आदि के आधार पर निश्चित किया है कि वह समय इस वंश के राजाओं की राजधानी था । आजकल इस वंश के राजपूत अधिकतर बुंदेलखंड, अवध आदि प्रदेशों में बसे हैं और उनमें अनेक बड़े जमीदार हैं ।

- दोषादि के दूर करने की युक्ति या उपाय । इलाज । उपचार ।
- त्याग । परित्याग । तजने या त्यागने का कार्य ।
- गाँव के ओर परती छोड़ी हुई वह भूमि जिसमें प्रत्येक ग्रामवासी को अपना पशु चराने का अधिकार होता था और जिसमें खेती करने की मनाहृ होती थी । पशुओं को चरने के लिये परती छोड़ी हुई सार्वजनिक भूमि । चरहा ।
- लड़ाई में जीता हुआ धनादि । शत्रु से छीन ली हुई वस्तुएँ । विजित द्रव्य ।
- कर या लगान की माफी । छूट ।
- खंडन । तरदीद ।
- नाटक में किसी अनुचित या अविधेय कर्म का प्रायश्चित करना (साहित्यदर्पण) ।
- अवज्ञा । तिरस्कार ।
- उपेक्षा ।
- मनु के अनुसार एक स्थान का नाम ।
