सड़क ऐसे भूमि पर बने हुए ऐसे मार्ग को कहते हैं जिसे समतल बनाकर या अन्य रूप से विकसित करके उसपर किसी वाहन के ज़रिए परिवहन में आसानी कर दी गई हो। आधुनिक गाड़ियों के चलाने के लिए सड़कों पर अक्सर टूटे पत्थरों की परत के ऊपर तारकोल फैलाया हुआ होता है। विकसित सड़कों पर विपरीत दिशाओं में जाने वाले वाहनों को सड़क विभाजित करके अलग लेनों में भी डाला जाता है। पैदल चल रहे व्यक्तियों की सुविधा के लिए अक्सर सड़कों के साथ-साथ फ़ुटपाथ भी बनाए जाते हैं। भारतीय उपमहाद्वीप में सड़कें लगभग ३००० ईसापूर्व काल से बन रही हैं।
