हस्तलेख वह लिखाई है जो किसी प्रकार के उपकरण की मदद से लिखी जाती है। हर एक मनुष्य में लिखने का तरीका अलग होता है और उन्हें लिखने की यह क्रिया प्राप्त होती है। हर इंसान की लिखाई अलग होती है इसलिए यह उनकी लिखी को पहचान कर उस इंसान की पहचान करने में भी मदद करता है। हर इंसान में लिखने का यह गुण अलग होता है, किसी भी २ मनुष्य की लिखाई एक सामान होने के बहुत कम चान्स होता है।
