भाई परमानन्द भारतीय स्वतंत्रता संग्राम के महान क्रान्तिकारी थे। भाई जी बहुआयामी व्यक्तित्व के स्वामी थे। वे जहाँ आर्यसमाज और वैदिक धर्म के अनन्य प्रचारक थे, वहीं इतिहासकार, साहित्यमनीषी और शिक्षाविद् के रूप में भी उन्होंने ख्याति अर्जित की थी। सरदार भगत सिंह, सुखदेव, पं॰ राम प्रसाद 'बिस्मिल', करतार सिंह सराबा जैसे असंख्य राष्ट्रभक्त युवक उनसे प्रेरणा प्राप्त कर बलि-पथ के राही बने थे।
