ഇന്ത്യയിൽ ധാരാളമായി വളരുന്നഒരു ഫലവൃക്ഷമാണ് മാവ്. ഇതിന്റെ ഫലമാണ്‌ മാങ്ങ. മാമ്പഴം വളരെ മധുരമുള്ളതും സ്വദിഷ്ടവുമാണ്. ലോകത്ത്‌ ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതൽ മാങ്ങ ഉത്‌പാദിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്‌ ഇന്ത്യയിലാണ്‌. ഫലങ്ങളുടെ രാജാവ്‌ എന്നാണ്‌ മാങ്ങ അറിയപ്പെടുന്നത്‌. മൂവാണ്ടൻ, കിളിച്ചുണ്ടൻ തുടങ്ങി നിർവധി തരം മാങ്ങകൾ ഉണ്ട്.
