A Claims Tribunal under the Motor Vehicles Act and the Workmen's Compensation Act are two independent Tribunals but they have concurrent jurisdiction with regard to claims for compensation in some cases.

किंतु सिविल न्यायालयों को उन मामलों पर अधिकारिता नहीं है जिन्हें विधान मंडल ने विभिन्न अधिनियमों के द्वारा अपवर्जित कर दिया है जैसे कि, औद्योगिक विवाद अधिनियम, कर्मकार क्षतिपूर्ति अधिनियम, मोटर यान अधिनियम आदि के अधीन विवाद।
Such compensation is payable under the Workmen's Compensation Act.
ऐसी क्षतिपूर्ति कामगार की क्षतिपूर्ति अधिनियम के तहत देय है।
The Act further absolved the employers of their obligations under the Maternity Benefit Act, 1961 and Workmen's Compensation Act 1923.
इसके अतिरिक्त इस अधिनियम ने प्रसूति हितलाभ अधिनियम, 1961 तथा कामगार प्रतिकर अधिनियम, 1923 के अंतर्गत नियोक्ताओं को उनके दायित्वों से विमुक्त किया।
The Act is administered by the State Governments through Commissioners for Workmen's Compensation.
यह अधिनियम राज्य सरकारों द्वारा कामगार क्षतिपूर्ति आयुक्तों के ज़रिए प्रशासित किया जाता है।

The Workmen's Compensation Act, 1923 was amended by the Workmen's Compensation (Amendment) Act, 2000.
कर्मकार मुआवजा अधिनियम, 1923 में कर्मकार मुआवजा (संशोधन) अधिनियम, 2000 द्वारा संशोधन किया गया था।
Though Section 19 of the Workmen's Compensation Act bars the jurisdiction of the Civil Court, it does not bar the jurisdiction of the Tribunal under the Motor Vehicles Act.
यद्यपि कर्मकार प्रतिकर अधिनियम की धारा 19 सिविल न्यायालय की अधिकारिता का अपवर्जन करती है पर वह मोटर यान अधिनियम के अधीन गठित अधिकरण का अपवर्जन नहीं करती।
