A footpath is a type of thoroughfare that is intended for use only by pedestrians and not other forms of traffic such as motorized vehicles, bicycles and horses. They can be found in a wide variety of places, from the centre of cities, to farmland, to mountain ridges. Urban footpaths are usually paved, may have steps, and can be called alleys, lanes, steps, etc.

पैदलपथ, पटरी, या फुटपाथ, किसी सड़क के एक या फिर दोनों किनारों के साथ बना एक रास्ता है, जिसका प्रयोग पैदल चलने के लिए किया जाता है। आवश्यक नहीं है कि किसी पैदलपथ की ऊँचाई उसकी संपूर्ण लंबाई में समान रहे, अक्सर इसकी ऊँचाई लंबाई के साथ साथ परिवर्तित होती रहती है। पैदलपथ का तल अमूमन साथ लगने वाली सड़क की सतह से ऊँचा होता है, जो इसे सड़क पर चलने वाले यातायात से पृथक करता है। पैदलपथ का किनारा जो इसे यातायात अनुभाग से अलग करता है, कोर या कर्ब (अंग्रेजी:Kerb) कहलाता है और अक्सर पत्थर या कंक्रीट से निर्मित होता है।
