Lamination is the technique/process of manufacturing a material in multiple layers, so that the composite material achieves improved strength, stability, sound insulation, appearance, or other properties from the use of the differing materials, such as plastic. A laminate is a permanently assembled object created using heat, pressure, welding, or adhesives. Various coating machines, machine presses and calendering equipment are used.

विपाटन एक ऐसी तकनीक/प्रक्रिया है जिसमें किसी माल को कई परतों में निर्मित किया जाता है, ताकि मिश्रित पदार्थ को विभिन्न सामग्रियों, जैसे प्लास्टिक, के उपयोग से बेहतर शक्ति, स्थिरता, ध्वनि इन्सुलेशन, उपस्थिति या अन्य गुण प्राप्त हो सकें। लैमिनेट एक स्थायी रूप से इकट्ठी की गई वस्तु है जिसे गर्मी, दाब, जोड़ाई या चिपकने वाले पदार्थों का उपयोग करके बनाया जाता है। विभिन्न कोटिंग मशीनों, मशीन प्रेस और कैलेंडर रहा उपकरणों का उपयोग किया जाता है।
