नादयुक्त गायन,वादन आणि नृत्य यांच्या तिहेरी संगमाला संगीत असे म्हणतात. संगीत हे सर्वांनी ऐकले पाहिजे कारण ,संगीत हे प्रत्येकासाठी वेगवेगळ्या प्रकारात उपलब्ध आहे. संगीत ऐकल्याने आपले मन अगदी प्रसन्न होते. संगीत माणसाला मानसिक स्वास्थ प्रदान करण्याचे माध्यम आहे. 'सं' म्हणजे स्वर, 'गी' म्हणजे गीत आणि 'त' म्हणजे ताल होय.संगीत कला ही सर्व कलामध्ये श्रेष्ठ कला मानली जाते.संगीतामधून आपण आपले भावना व्यक्त करू शकतो. जेव्हा आपण आनंदीत असतो तेव्हा संगीतातला शब्द आपल्याला समजतो पण जेव्हा आपण दुखात असतो तेव्हा त्या संगीतातल्या शब्दाचा अर्थ समजतो.संगीत हे ईश्वराने दिलेली एक देन आहे.आपल्या मनातील भावना ह्या कदाचित संगीतानेच व्यक्त होऊ शकतात.संगीत आयुष्याला प्रेरणा देते.एकांतात स्वतःला ओळखण्यासाठीचा एकमेव मार्ग म्हणजे संगीत होय.
