உணர்ச்சி (Emotion) என்பது மனநல செயல்பாட்டு அனுபவம் ஆகும். இது தீவிர உயர் மட்ட இன்பம் அல்லது அதிருப்தி ஆகியவற்றால் தனித்தன்மையளித்து வகைப்படுத்தப்படும் செயல் ஆகும். விஞ்ஞான எண்ணப் பரிமாறல்கள் மற்றும் அலசல்கள் ஒரு வரையறையை எட்டாமல், வேறு அர்த்தங்களுக்கு இழுத்துச் சென்றுள்ளன. உணர்ச்சி எனும் கூறு, பெரும்பாலும் மனநிலை, குணாம்சம், ஆளுமை, ஒழுங்கமைதி மற்றும் ஆர்வமூட்டல் ஆகியவற்றுடன் பிணைந்துள்ளது.

Emotions are physical and mental states brought on by neurophysiological changes, variously associated with thoughts, feelings, behavioral responses, and a degree of pleasure or displeasure. There is no scientific consensus on a definition. Emotions are often intertwined with mood, temperament, personality, disposition, or creativity.
