યૂસફે કેટલુંક શણનું કાપડ ખરીધ્યું તેણે વધસ્તંભ પરથી મૃતદેહ ઉતાર્યો અને તે મૃતદેહને શણના કાપડમાં વીંટાળ્યું પછી યૂસફે શબને કબરમાં મૂક્યું જે ખડકની દિવાલમાં ખોદી હતી પછી યૂસફે તે કબરના પ્રવેશદ્ધારને એક મોટો પથ્થર ગબડાવી બંધ કરી દીધું
He bought a linen cloth and taking him down wound him in the linen cloth and laid him in a tomb which had been cut out of a rock He rolled a stone against the door of the tomb
તે સ્ત્રીઓએ અકબીજાને કહ્યું ત્યાં એક મોટો પથ્થર હતો જે કબરના પ્રવેશદ્ધારને ઢાંકતો હતો આપણા માટે તે પથ્થર કોણ ખસેડશે
They were saying among themselves Who will roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for us

પછી તે સ્ત્રીઓએ નજર કરી અને જોયું તો પથ્થર ખસેડેલો હતો તે પથ્થર ઘણો મોટો હતો પરંતુ તે પ્રવેશદ્ધાર પાસેથી દૂર ખસેડાઇ ગયો હતો

પણ ઈસુએ કહ્યું સમય આવશે ત્યારે તમે જે બધું અહી જુઓ છો તેનો નાશ થશે આ મકાનનો પ્રત્યેક પથ્થર જમીન પર પાડી નાખવામાં આવશે એક પણ પથ્થર બીજા પથ્થર પર રહેવા દેવામાં આવશે નહિ
As for these things which you see the days will come in which there will not be left here one stone on another that will not be thrown down
એક ભારે પથ્થર કબરના દ્ધારને બંધ કરવા મૂકવામાં આવ્યો હતો પણ સ્ત્રીઓએ જેયું કે પથ્થર ગબડાવી દેવામાં આવ્યો હતો

યહૂદિ અધિકારીઓએ ઈસુને તેઓના પ્રશ્ન પૂછવાનું ચાલુ રાખ્યું તેથી ઈસુ ઊભો થયો અને કહ્યું શું અહીં કોઈ એવી વ્યક્તિ છે જેણે કદી પાપ ના કર્યું હોય જે વ્યક્તિએ પાપ કર્યું ના હોય તે આ સ્ત્રી પર પહેલો પથ્થર મારે
