और जब उसके सामने हमारी आयतें पढ़ी जाती हैं तो शेख़ी के मारे मुँह फेरकर (इस तरह) चल देता है गोया उसने इन आयतों को सुना ही नहीं जैसे उसके दोनो कानों में ठेठी है तो (ऐ रसूल) तुम उसको दर्दनाक अज़ाब की (अभी से) खुशख़बरी दे दे
When Our verses are recited before them they turn away haughtily as though they did not hear them, as if a deafness had come into their ears. So give them tidings of a shameful punishment.
उस वक्त ख़ुदा कहेगा (हाँ) हाँ तेरे पास मेरी आयतें पहुँची तो तूने उन्हें झुठलाया और शेख़ी कर बैठा और तू भी काफिरों में से था (अब तेरी एक न सुनी जाएगी)
Why, My revelations had come to you, but you denied them and were filled with pride, and were among the disbelievers.
उस वक्त ख़ुदा कहेगा (हाँ) हाँ तेरे पास मेरी आयतें पहुँची तो तूने उन्हें झुठलाया और शेख़ी कर बैठा और तू भी काफिरों में से था (अब तेरी एक न सुनी जाएगी)
Yea! surely there came Unto thee My revelations, but thou beliedest them and wast stiff-necked and wast of the infidels.
उस वक्त ख़ुदा कहेगा (हाँ) हाँ तेरे पास मेरी आयतें पहुँची तो तूने उन्हें झुठलाया और शेख़ी कर बैठा और तू भी काफिरों में से था (अब तेरी एक न सुनी जाएगी)
Yes! Verily, there came to you My Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) and you denied them, and were proud and were among the disbelievers.
