A crucible is a ceramic or metal container in which metals or other substances may be melted or subjected to very high temperatures. Although crucibles have historically tended to be made out of clay, they can be made from any material that withstands temperatures high enough to melt or otherwise alter its contents.

मूषा, घड़िया या क्रूसिबल (crucible) एक पात्र है जो बहुत अधिक ताप सहन कर सकता है। इसका उपयोग धातु, काच, तथा रंजक आदि के उत्पादन के लिये तथा आधुनिक प्रयोगशालाओं की अनेकानेक प्रक्रियाओं के लिये किया जाता है। ऐतिहासिक रूप से मूषा का निर्माण मिट्टी से किया जाता था किन्तु इसे ऐसे किसी भी पदार्थ से बनाया जा सकता है जो इतना ताप सह सके जिस पर इसमें रखी चीज को पिघलाया जा सके।
