इसमें तो शक़ नहीं कि उस शख़्श के वास्ते जो अज़ाब आख़िरत से डरता है (हमारी कुदरत की) एक निशानी है ये वह रोज़ होगा कि सारे (जहाँन) के लोग जमा किए जाएंगें और यही वह दिन होगा कि (हमारी बारगाह में) सब हाज़िर किए जाएंगें
Lo! it hath been revealed unto us that the doom will be for him who denieth and turneth away.
हमारे पास खुदा की तरफ से ये ' वही ' नाज़िल हुईहै कि यक़ीनन अज़ाब उसी शख्स पर है जो (खुदा की आयतों को) झुठलाए
So taste (the evil of your deeds). Forasmuch as ye forgot the meeting of this your day, lo! We forget you. Taste the doom of immortality because of what ye used to do.
तो चूँकि तुम आज के दिन हुज़ूरी को भूले बैठे थे तो अब उसका मज़ा चखो हमने तुमको क़सदन भुला दिया और जैसी जैसी तुम्हारी करतूतें थीं (उनके बदले) अब हमेशा के अज़ाब के मज़े चखो
That He may ask the loyal of their loyalty. And He hath prepared a painful doom for the unfaithful.
ताकि (क़यामत के दिन) सच्चों (पैग़म्बरों) से उनकी सच्चाई तबलीग़े रिसालत का हाल दरियाफ्त करें और काफिरों के वास्ते तो उसने दर्दनाक अज़ाब तैयार ही कर रखा है।
This is guidance. And those who disbelieve the revelations of their Lord, for them there is a painful doom of wrath.
ये (क़ुरान) है और जिन लोगों ने अपने परवरदिगार की आयतों से इन्कार किया उनके लिए सख्त किस्म का दर्दनाक अज़ाब होगा
Those unto whom they cry seek the way of approach to their Lord, which of them shall be the nearest; they hope for His mercy and they fear His doom . Lo! the doom of thy Lord is to be shunned.
ये लोग जिनको मुशरेकीन (अपना ख़ुदा समझकर) इबादत करते हैं वह खुद अपने परवरदिगार की क़ुरबत के ज़रिए ढूँढते फिरते हैं कि (देखो) इनमें से कौन ज्यादा कुरबत रखता है और उसकी रहमत की उम्मीद रखते और उसके अज़ाब से डरते हैं इसमें शक़ नहीं कि तेरे परवरदिगार का अज़ाब डरने की चीज़ है
Thus Allah made them taste humiliation in the life of the world, and verily the doom of the Hereafter will be greater if they did but know.
तो खुदा ने उन्हें (इसी) दुनिया की ज़िन्दगी में रूसवाई की लज्ज़त चखा दी और आख़ेरत का अज़ाब तो यक़ीनी उससे कहीं बढ़कर है काश ये लोग ये बात जानते
Thy Lord is the Forgiver, Full of Mercy. If He took them to task (now) for what they earn, He would hasten on the doom for them; but theirs is an appointed term from which they will find no escape.
और (ऐ रसूल) तुम्हारा परवरदिगार तो बड़ा बख्शने वाला मेहरबान है अगर उनकी करतूतों की सज़ा में धर पकड़ करता तो फौरन (दुनिया ही में) उन पर अज़ाब नाज़िल कर देता मगर उनके लिए तो एक मियाद (मुक़र्रर) है जिससे खुदा के सिवा कहीें पनाह की जगह न पाएंगें
Turning away in pride to beguile (men) from the way of Allah. For him in this world is ignominy, and on the Day of Resurrection We make him taste the doom of burning.
(ख्वाहमख्वाह) खुदा के बारे में लड़ने मरने पर तैयार है ताकि (लोगों को) ख़ुदा की राह बहका दे ऐसे (नाबकार) के लिए दुनिया में (भी) रूसवाई है और क़यामत के दिन (भी) हम उसे जहन्नुम के अज़ाब (का मज़ा) चखाएँगे
