और रहे समूद तो हमने उनको सीधा रास्ता दिखाया, मगर उन लोगों ने हिदायत के मुक़ाबले में गुमराही को पसन्द किया तो उन की करतूतों की बदौलत ज़िल्लत के अज़ाब की बिजली ने उनको ले डाला
And those who disbelieve will not cease to be in doubt thereof until the Hour come upon them unawares, or there come unto them the doom of a disastrous day.
और जो लोग काफिर हो बैठे वह तो कुरान की तरफ से हमेशा शक ही में पड़े रहेंगे यहाँ तक कि क़यामत यकायक उनके सर पर आ मौजूद हो या (यूँ कहो कि) उनपर एक सख्त मनहूस दिन का अज़ाब नाज़िल हुआ
And verily We have beautified the world's heaven with lamps, and We have made them missiles for the devils, and for them We have prepared the doom of flame.
और हमने नीचे वाले (पहले) आसमान को (तारों के) चिराग़ों से ज़ीनत दी है और हमने उनको शैतानों के मारने का आला बनाया और हमने उनके लिए दहकती हुई आग का अज़ाब तैयार कर रखा है
And ye shall know to whom a punishment that will confound him cometh, and upon whom a lasting doom will fall.
और तुम्हें अनक़रीब ही मालूम हो जाएगा कि किस पर अज़ाब नाज़िल होता है कि (दुनिया में) उसे रुसवा कर दे और किस पर (क़यामत में) दाइमी अज़ाब नाज़िल होता है
But those who strive against Our revelations, challenging (Us), theirs will be a painful doom of wrath.
और जिन लोगों ने हमारी आयतों (के तोड़) में मुक़ाबिले की दौड़-धूप की उन ही के लिए दर्दनाक अज़ाब की सज़ा होगी
For them is torment in the life of the world, and verily the doom of the Hereafter is more painful, and they have no defender from Allah.
इन लोगों के वास्ते दुनियावी ज़िन्दगी में (भी) अज़ाब है और आख़िरत का अज़ाब तो यक़ीनी और बहुत सख्त खुलने वाला है (और) (फिर) ख़ुदा (के ग़ज़ब) से उनको कोई बचाने वाला (भी) नहीं
Had it not been for the grace of Allah and His mercy unto you in the world and the Hereafter an awful doom had overtaken you for that whereof ye murmured.
और अगर तुम लोगों पर दुनिया और आख़िरत में ख़ुदा का फज़ल (व करम) और उसकी रहमत न होती तो जिस बात का तुम लोगों ने चर्चा किया था उस की वजह से तुम पर कोई बड़ा (सख्त) अज़ाब आ पहुँचता
