कोई बस्ती ऐसी क्यों न हुई कि ईमान क़ुबूल करती तो उसको उसका ईमान फायदे मन्द होता हाँ यूनूस की क़ौम जब (अज़ाब देख कर) ईमान लाई तो हमने दुनिया की (चन्द रोज़ा) ज़िन्दगी में उनसे रुसवाई का अज़ाब दफा कर दिया और हमने उन्हें एक ख़ास वक्त तक चैन करने दिया
With his neck turned away from the truth, in order to deceive from the way of Allah; for him is disgrace in this world and on the Day of Resurrection We shall make him taste the punishment of fire.
(ख्वाहमख्वाह) खुदा के बारे में लड़ने मरने पर तैयार है ताकि (लोगों को) ख़ुदा की राह बहका दे ऐसे (नाबकार) के लिए दुनिया में (भी) रूसवाई है और क़यामत के दिन (भी) हम उसे जहन्नुम के अज़ाब (का मज़ा) चखाएँगे

फिर जब उन्हें हमारी यातना का आभास हुआ तो लगे वहाँ से भागने
You see many of them becoming allies of those who disbelieved. How wretched is that which they have put forth for themselves in that Allah has become angry with them, and in the punishment they will abide eternally.
(ऐ रसूल) तुम उन (यहूदियों) में से बहुतेरों को देखोगे कि कुफ्फ़ार से दोस्ती रखते हैं जो सामान पहले से उन लोगों ने ख़ुद अपने वास्ते दुरूस्त किया है किस क़दर बुरा है (जिसका नतीजा ये है) कि (दुनिया में भी) ख़ुदा उन पर गज़बनाक हुआ और (आख़ेरत में भी) हमेशा अज़ाब ही में रहेंगे

You see many of them fraternizing with the faithless. Surely evil is what they have sent ahead for their souls, as Allah is displeased with them and they shall remain in punishment [ forever ].
