और ऐ रसूल इन लोगों से उन दो शख़्शों की मिसाल बयान करो कि उनमें से एक को हमने अंगूर के दो बाग़ दे रखे है और हमने चारो ओर खजूर के पेड़ लगा दिये है और उन दोनों बाग़ के दरमियान खेती भी लगाई है

उनके समक्ष एक उपमा प्रस्तुत करो दो व्यक्ति है उनमें से एक को हमने अंगूरों के दो बाग़ दिए और उनके चारों ओर हमने खजूरो के वृक्षो की बाड़ लगाई और उन दोनों के बीच हमने खेती बाड़ी रखी

फिर जब वे दोनों संगम पर पहुँचे तो वे अपनी मछली से ग़ाफ़िल हो गए और उस मछली ने दरिया में सुरंह बनाती अपनी राह ली

आप मुझसे किसी चीज़ के बारे में न पूछियेगा ग़रज़ ये दोनो मिलकर चल खड़े हुए यहाँ तक कि एक दरिया में जब दोनों कश्ती में सवार हुए तो ख़िज्र ने कश्ती में छेद कर दिया मूसा ने कहा आप ने तो ग़ज़ब कर दिया क्या कश्ती में इस ग़रज़ से सुराख़ किया है

अन्ततः दोनों चले यहाँ तक कि जब नौका में सवार हुए तो उसने उसमें दरार डाल दी मूसा ने कहा आपने इसमें दरार डाल दी ताकि उसके सवारों को डुबो दें आपने तो एक अनोखी हरकत कर डाली

ख़ैर ये तो हो गया फिर दोनों के दोनों आगे चले यहाँ तक कि दोनों एक लड़के से मिले तो उस बन्दे ख़ुदा ने उसे जान से मार डाला मूसा ने कहा ऐ माज़ अल्लाह क्या आपने एक मासूम शख़्श को मार डाला और वह भी किसी के ख़ौफ के बदले में नहीं आपने तो यक़ीनी एक अजीब हरकत की

Then We said Adam verily this is an enemy unto thee and thine spouse so let him not drive forth you twain from the Garden lest thou be destressed
इसपर हमने कहा ऐ आदम निश्चय ही यह तुम्हारा और तुम्हारी पत्नी का शत्रु है ऐसा न हो कि तुम दोनों को जन्नत से निकलवा दे और तुम तकलीफ़ में पड़ जाओ
