श्री टम्टा ने कहा कि भारत सरकार ने एक छत्र योजना पूर्वोत्तर क्षेत्र वस्त्र संवर्धन योजना (एनईआरटीपीएस) के तहत पूर्वोत्तर क्षेत्र के लिए एक परियोजना आधारित रणनीति को मंजूरी दी है, ताकि इस क्षेत्र में रेशम क्षेत्र को बढ़ावा दिया जा सके।

The meeting was attended by the senior officials of the Textile s Ministry, institutions and organizations under it, representatives of textile industry, State Governments, training institutions among others.
