tēndu'ā  tenduaa
For example, if carnivores like tigers and leopards are exterminated, the population of the deer will increase unchecked and this in turn would destroy the vegetation more rapidly, giving no time for plants to regenerate.
Found all over India, it is adapted to life in the jungle and wilderness.
In the Eighth Plan, the Govt. of India launched the Snow Leopard Project for the long term conservation of this elusive cat.
It can kill and eat any animal it hunts, including deer, cattle, monkeys, rodents, birds, reptiles, etc.
One day it happened that Leopard was ill, and so he could not hunt.

One day, Leopard had chased Hare you know why leopards chase hares now, don't you?, until Hare had taken refuge in an anthill.
Snow leopard hunts blue sheep in the Himalayas.
That is why the leopardess is wary and now always hunts alone; and that is why the hare runs for its life without even looking back, if you should come upon it unawares.
The Snow Leopard inhabits the inner Himalayas above the altitude of 3500 m.
The leopard often hides itself in a tree or rocky outcrop above a water hole, dropping on its prey from the site of ambush.
