भारतीय सिनेमा के राष्ट्रीय संग्रहालय की स्थापना भारतीय सिनेमा के विकास के माध्यम से भारत के समृद्ध सिनेमाई इतिहास एवं सामाजिक-सांस्कृतिक इतिहास को प्रदर्शित करने के लिए की गई है।
The National Museum of Indian Cinema has been set up to showcase the rich cinematic history of India as well as to encapsulate socio-cultural history of India as revealed through evolution of Cinema.
यह संग्रहालय दो इमारतों में बना है। इस पर पीएम ने कहा कि जहां गुलशन महल हमारे इतिहास के बारे में बताता है, वहीं नए संग्रहालय की अति आधुनिक इमारत भविष्य के प्रति हमारे विजन का प्रमाण है।

प्रधानमंत्री 1857 में भारत के प्रथम स्वतंत्रता संग्राम पर बने संग्रहालय और भारतीय कला पर बने संग्रहालय दृश्य संग्रहालय भी देखेंगे।
He will also visit the Museum on 1857- Indias first war of Independence and Drishyakala- Museum on Indian Art at Red Fort, New Delhi.
