Besides, projects are being taken up on other tributaries of Ganga as well under the Namami Gange programme.
स्वच्छ सर्वेक्षण सफाई मानकों को सुधारने के लिए शहरों के बीच एक स्वस्थ प्रतिस्पर्धा विकसित करने के लक्ष्य से 2016 में 73 शहरों को रेटिंग देने वाला स्वच्छ सर्वेक्षण सर्वे करवाया गया था जिसके बाद 'स्वच्छ सर्वेक्षण-2017' हुआ जिसमें 434 शहरों को रैंकिंग दी गई।
SWACHH SURVEKSHAN In order to foster a healthy competition between cities for improving cleanliness standards, Swachh Survekshan survey was conducted for the rating of 73 cities in 2016 followed by Swachh Survekshan-2017 which ranked 434 cities.
श्री गडकरी ने कहा कि दिल्ली के अलावा हरियाणा (पानीपत और सोनीपत) और उत्तर प्रदेश (मथुरा-वृंदावन) में भी यमुना की सफाई के लिए काम किया जा रहा है।
Shri Gadkari added that apart from Delhi, interventions for Yamuna cleaning are also being made in Haryana (Panipat and Sonepat) and Uttar Pradesh (Mathura-Vrindavan).
श्री गडकरी को उनकी मदद के लिए धन्यवाद देते हुए, दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री श्री अरविन्द केजरीवाल ने कहा कि उन्हें इस बात की खुशी है कि यमुना की सफाई के लिए ऐसे महत्वपूर्ण कदम उठाए गए हैं।
Thanking Shri Gadkari for his help, Chief Minister of Delhi Shri Arvind Kejriwal said that he was happy that such an important step has been taken for Yamuna cleaning.
श्री केजरीवाल ने कहा कि यमुना की सफाई उनकी भी प्राथमिकता है और उन्होंने मंत्रालय से निरंतर सहयोग की अपेक्षा की।
He said that Yamuna cleaning was their priority also and hoped for continued support from the Ministry.
