और इबराहीम की क़ौम और लूत की क़ौम
Those of Abraham and Lut
परन्तु उसकी क़ौम के लोगों का उत्तर इसके सिवा कुछ न था कि उन्होंने कहा निकाल बाहर करो लूत के घरवालों को अपनी बस्ती से ये लोग सुथराई को बहुत पसन्द करते है
But his people gave no other answer but this they said Drive out the followers of Lut from your city these are indeed men who want to be clean and pure
फिर उसके बाद कितने ही रसूल हमने उनकी क़ौम की ओर भेजे और वे उनके पास स्पष्ट निशानियां लेकर आए, किन्तु वे ऐसे न थे कि जिसको पहले झुठला चुके हॊं, उसे मानते। इसी तरह अतिक्रमणकारियों कॆ दिलों पर हम मुहर लगा देते हैं
After him We sent Messengers to their nation. They brought them clear signs, but they were not of those to believe because they had belied it previously. SoWe seal the hearts of the evildoers.
फिर ज़रा ग़ौर तो करो फिर हमने नूह के बाद और रसूलों को अपनी क़ौम के पास भेजा तो वह पैग़म्बर उनके पास वाजेए (खुले हुए) व रौशन मौजिज़े लेकर आए इस पर भी जिस चीज़ को ये लोग पहले झुठला चुके थे उस पर ईमान (न लाना था) न लाए हम यूंही हद से गुज़र जाने वालों के दिलों पर (गोया) खुद मोहर कर देते हैं

अल्लाह से हटकर वह दूसरे को पूजती थी। इसी चीज़ ने उसे रोक रखा था। निस्संदेह वह एक इनकार करनेवाली क़ौम में से थी
And (all) that she was wont to worship instead of Allah hindered her, for she came of disbelieving folk.

और ख़ुदा के सिवा जिसे वह पूजती थी सुलेमान ने उससे उसे रोक दिया क्योंकि वह काफिर क़ौम की थी (और आफताब को पूजती थी)

और इबराहीम को भी भेजा, जबकि उसने अपनी क़ौम के लोगों से कहा, ' अल्लाह की बन्दगी करो और उसका डर रखो। यह तुम्हारे लिए अच्छा है, यदि तुम जानो
And (remember) Abraham. When he said to his people' Worship Allah and fear Him. That would be best for you, if you but knew.
फ़िरऔन ने अपनी क़ौम को पथभ्रष्ट किया और मार्ग न दिखाया
And Fir' awn led his nation astray, and guided them not.
और फिरऔन ने अपनी क़ौम को गुमराह (करके हलाक) कर डाला और उनकी हिदायत न की
And Fir' awn led his nation astray, and guided them not.
और हमने लूत को भेजा, जबकि उसने अपनी क़ौम के लोगों से कहा, ' तुम जो वह अश्लील कर्म करते हो, जिसे तुमसे पहले सारे संसार में किसी ने नहीं किया
And Lot, when he said to his people' Surely you commit such indecency as never any being in all the world committed before you.
