फिर मूसा की बात उसकी क़ौम की संतति में से बस कुछ ही लोगों ने मानी फ़िरऔन और उनके सरदारों के भय से कि कहीं उन्हें किसी फ़ितने में न डाल दें फ़िरऔन था भी धरती में बहुत सिर उठाए हुए औऱ निश्चय ही वह हद से आगे बढ़ गया था

ऐ मेरी क़ौम के लोगो मैं इसपर तुमसे कोई पारिश्रमिक नहीं माँगता मेरा पारिश्रमिक तो बस उसके ज़िम्मे है जिसने मुझे पैदा किया फिर क्या तुम बुद्धि से काम नहीं लेते

फिर जब इबराहीम की घबराहट दूर हो गई और उसे शुभ सूचना भी मिली तो वह लूत की क़ौम के विषय में हम से झगड़ने लगा

और हमने उन्हें और उनकी क़ौम को बड़ी घुटन और बेचैनी से छुटकारा दिया
and We saved them with their nation from a great distress
