And the earth We have spread out (like a carpet); set thereon mountains firm and immovable; and produced therein all kinds of things in due balance.
और ज़मीन को (भी अपने मख़लूक़ात के रहने सहने को) हम ही ने फैलाया और इसमें (कील की तरह) पहाड़ो के लंगर डाल दिए और हमने उसमें हर किस्म की मुनासिब चीज़े उगाई

और हमने धरती को फैलाया और उसमें अटल पहाड़ डाल दिए और उसमें हर चीज़ नपे-तुले अन्दाज़ में उगाई

और हमने धरती को फैलाया और उसमें अटल पहाड़ डाल दिए और उसमें हर चीज़ नपे-तुले अन्दाज़ में उगाई
And there are among them illiterates, who know not the Book, but (see therein their own) desires, and they do nothing but conjecture.
और कुछ उनमें से ऐसे अनपढ़ हैं कि वह किताबे खुदा को अपने मतलब की बातों के सिवा कुछ नहीं समझते और वह फक़त ख्याली बातें किया करते हैं,

And therein lies a critical puzzle.
और उसमें एक महत्वपूर्ण पहेली है
And they attribute to Allah that which they dislike, and their tongues assert the lie that they will have the best [ from Him ]. Assuredly, they will have the Fire, and they will be [ therein ] neglected.
और ये लोग खुद जिन बातों को पसन्द नहीं करते उनको ख़ुदा के वास्ते क़रार देते हैं और अपनी ही ज़बान से ये झूठे दावे भी करते हैं कि (आख़िरत में भी) उन्हीं के लिए भलाई है (भलाई तो नहीं मगर) हाँ उनके लिए जहन्नुम की आग ज़रुरी है और यही लोग सबसे पहले (उसमें) झोंके जाएँगें
And those who disbelieve and belie Our signs, - - they, shall be fellows of the Fire; therein they shall be abiders.
और जिन लोगों ने इनकार किया और हमारी आयतों को झुठलाया, वहीं आग में पड़नेवाले हैं, वे उसमें सदैव रहेंगे
And those whose faces have turned bright, they will be in the mercy of Allah, and therein they shall abide.
रहे वे लोग जिनके चेहरे उज्ज्वल होंगे, वे अल्लाह की दयालुता की छाया में होंगे। वे उसी में सदैव रहेंगे
And thus have We sent it down an Arabic Quran, and have distinctly set forth therein of threats that they may guard (against evil) or that it may produce a reminder for them.
हमने उसको उसी तरह अरबी ज़बान का कुरान नाज़िल फ़रमाया और उसमें अज़ाब के तरह-तरह के वायदे बयान किए ताकि ये लोग परहेज़गार बनें या उनके मिजाज़ में इबरत पैदा कर दे
