और रहे समूद, तो हमने उनके सामने सीधा मार्ग दिखाया, किन्तु मार्गदर्शन के मुक़ाबले में उन्होंने अन्धा रहना ही पसन्द किया। परिणामतः जो कुछ वे कमाई करते रहे थे उसके बदले में अपमानजनक यातना के कड़के ने उन्हें आ पकड़ा

And as for Thamud, We guided them, but they preferred blindness over guidance, so the thunderbolt of humiliating punishment seized them for what they used to earn.

और रहे समूद, तो हमने उनके सामने सीधा मार्ग दिखाया, किन्तु मार्गदर्शन के मुक़ाबले में उन्होंने अन्धा रहना ही पसन्द किया। परिणामतः जो कुछ वे कमाई करते रहे थे उसके बदले में अपमानजनक यातना के कड़के ने उन्हें आ पकड़ा

And as for the tribe of the Thamud We guided them but they preferred blindness to the guidance, wherefore the bolt of the torment of abjection laid hold of them because of that which they had been earning.

और रहे समूद, तो हमने उनके सामने सीधा मार्ग दिखाया, किन्तु मार्गदर्शन के मुक़ाबले में उन्होंने अन्धा रहना ही पसन्द किया। परिणामतः जो कुछ वे कमाई करते रहे थे उसके बदले में अपमानजनक यातना के कड़के ने उन्हें आ पकड़ा

And as to Samood, We showed them the right way, but they chose error above guidance, so there overtook them the scourge of an abasing chastisement for what they earned.

यदि बस्तियों के लोग ईमान लाते और डर रखते तो अवश्य ही हम उनपर आकाश और धरती की बरकतें खोल देते, परन्तु उन्होंने तो झुठलाया। तो जो कुछ कमाई वे करते थे, उसके बदले में हमने उन्हें पकड़ लिया

And if the people of the towns had believed and guarded (against evil) We would certainly have opened up for them blessings from the heaven and the earth, but they rejected, so We overtook them for what they had earned.

उनसे पहले जो लोग गुज़रे है, वे भी चालें चल चुके है, किन्तु वास्तविक चाल तो पूरी की पूरी अल्लाह ही के हाथ में है। प्रत्येक व्यक्ति जो कमाई कर रहा है उसे वह जानता है। इनकार करनेवालों को शीघ्र ही ज्ञात हो जाएगा कि परलोक - गृह के शुभ परिणाम के अधिकारी कौन है

And indeed those before them had plotted; therefore Allah Himself is the Master of all strategies; He knows all what every soul earns; and soon will the disbelievers realise for whom is the final abode.

छोड़ो खुले गुनाह को भी और छिपे को भी। निश्चय ही गुनाह कमानेवालों को उसका बदला दिया जाएगा, जिस कमाई में वे लगे रहे होंगे

And leave what is apparent of sin and what is concealed thereof. Indeed, those who earn [ blame for ] sin will be recompensed for that which they used to commit.

And regarding the Thamud, We showed them the right path – so they chose to be blind above being guided, therefore the thunderbolt of the disgraceful punishment overcame them – the recompense of their deeds.

जो लोग ईमान लाए और उनकी सन्तान ने भी ईमान के साथ उसका अनुसरण किया, उनकी सन्तान को भी हम उनसे मिला देंगे, और उनके कर्म में से कुछ भी कम करके उन्हें नहीं देंगे। हर व्यक्ति अपनी कमाई के बदले में बन्धक है

And they who believe and whose seed follow them in faith, We cause their seed to join them (there), and We deprive them of nought of their (life' s) work. Every man is a pledge for that which he hath earned.

उनसे पहले जो लोग गुज़रे है, वे भी चालें चल चुके है, किन्तु वास्तविक चाल तो पूरी की पूरी अल्लाह ही के हाथ में है। प्रत्येक व्यक्ति जो कमाई कर रहा है उसे वह जानता है। इनकार करनेवालों को शीघ्र ही ज्ञात हो जाएगा कि परलोक - गृह के शुभ परिणाम के अधिकारी कौन है

And those before them did indeed make plans, but all planning is Allah' s; He knows what every soul earns, and the unbelievers shall come to know for whom is the (better) issue of the abode.

जो लोग ईमान लाए और उनकी सन्तान ने भी ईमान के साथ उसका अनुसरण किया, उनकी सन्तान को भी हम उनसे मिला देंगे, और उनके कर्म में से कुछ भी कम करके उन्हें नहीं देंगे। हर व्यक्ति अपनी कमाई के बदले में बन्धक है

And those who accepted faith, and whose descendants followed them with faith – We have joined their descendants with them, and have not reduced anything for them from their deeds; every soul is trapped in its own deeds.
