ग़रज़ वहाँ जितने लोग मोमिनीन थे उनको हमने निकाल दिया

और तुम मोमिनीन को खुशख़बरी दे दो कि उनके लिए खुदा की तरफ से बहुत बड़ी (मेहरबानी और) बख्शिश है

But those who repent and amend, and hold firmly to God, and are sincere and wholly obedient to God, are surely with the faithful ; and God will bestow on the faithful a great reward.
मगर (हॉ) जिन लोगों ने (निफ़ाक़ से) तौबा कर ली और अपनी हालत दुरूस्त कर ली और ख़ुदा से लगे लिपटे रहे और अपने दीन को महज़ ख़ुदा के वास्ते निरा खरा कर लिया तो ये लोग मोमिनीन के साथ (बेहिश्त में) होंगे और मोमिनीन को ख़ुदा अनक़रीब ही बड़ा (अच्छा) बदला अता फ़रमाएगा
If God is there to help you none will overcome you; and if He forsake you, who will help you other than Him? So only in God should the faithful place their trust.
(मुसलमानों याद रखो) अगर ख़ुदा ने तुम्हारी मदद की तो फिर कोई तुमपर ग़ालिब नहीं आ सकता और अगर ख़ुदा तुमको छोड़ दे तो फिर कौन ऐसा है जो उसके बाद तुम्हारी मदद को खड़ा हो और मोमिनीन को चाहिये कि ख़ुदा ही पर भरोसा रखें
In fact you imagined that the Prophet and the faithful would never come back home; and this seemed pleasing to your hearts, and you entertained evil thoughts. You are a people lost.
(ये फ़क़त तुम्हारे हीले हैं) बात ये है कि तुम ये समझे बैठे थे कि रसूल और मोमिनीन हरगिज़ कभी अपने लड़के वालों में पलट कर आने ही के नहीं (और सब मार डाले जाएँगे) और यही बात तुम्हारे दिलों में भी खप गयी थी और इसी वजह से, तुम तरह तरह की बदगुमानियाँ करने लगे थे और (आख़िरकार) तुम लोग आप बरबाद हुए
Indeed [ malicious ] secret talks are from Satan, that he may upset the faithful , but he cannot harm them in any way except by Allah's leave, and in Allah let all the faithful put their trust.
(बरी बातों की) सरगोशी तो बस एक शैतानी काम है (और इसलिए करते हैं) ताकि ईमानदारों को उससे रंज पहुँचे हालॉकि ख़ुदा की तरफ से आज़ादी दिए बग़ैर सरगोशी उनका कुछ बिगाड़ नहीं सकती और मोमिनीन को तो ख़ुदा ही पर भरोसा रखना चाहिए
O Prophet, urge the faithful to fight. If there are twenty among you with determination they will vanquish two hundred; and if there are a hundred then they will vanquish a thousand unbelievers, for they are people devoid of understanding.
ऐ रसूल तुम मोमिनीन को जिहाद के वास्ते आमादा करो (वह घबराए नहीं ख़ुदा उनसे वायदा करता है कि) अगर तुम लोगों में के साबित क़दम रहने वाले बीस भी होगें तो वह दो सौ (काफिरों) पर ग़ालिब आ जायेगे और अगर तुम लोगों में से साबित कदम रहने वालों सौ होगें तो हज़ार (काफिरों) पर ग़ालिब आ जाएँगें इस सबब से कि ये लोग ना समझ हैं
