और वही तो वह (ख़ुदा) है जिसने रात और दिन (एक) को (एक का) जानशीन बनाया (ये) उस के (समझने के) लिए है जो नसीहत हासिल करना चाहे या शुक्र गुज़ारी का इरादा करें

If He so wills, He can cause the winds to become still so that they will remain motionless on its surface. Surely there are many Signs in this for those who are wont to be steadfast and give thanks.

If He wills, He causes the wind to cease, then they would become motionless on the back (of the sea). Verily, in this are signs for everyone patient and grateful.

If He wishes He stills the wind, whereat they remain standstill on its surface. There are indeed signs in that for every patient and grateful [ servant ].
और उसने अपनी मेहरबानी से तुम्हारे वास्ते रात और दिन को बनाया ताकि तुम रात में आराम करो और दिन में उसके फज़ल व करम (रोज़ी) की तलाश करो और ताकि तुम लोग शुक्र करो
In His mercy He has made for you the night and the day, during which you may rest, and seek His bounty and be grateful.
और उसको रास्ता भी दिखा दिया (अब वह) ख्वाह शुक्र गुज़ार हो ख्वाह नाशुक्रा
