(15). कचरे से ऊर्जा का उत्पादन करने वाले संयंत्रों से उत्पादित बिजली के लिए शुल्क (टैरिफ) नीति विद्युत मंत्रालय द्वारा तैयार की जा सकती है और इन संयंत्रों से प्राप्त बिजली की शुल्क दरें विद्युत नियामक आयोग द्वारा कुछ इस तरह से तय की जा सकती हैं, जिससे कि ये परियोजनाएं लाभप्रद साबित हो सकें।
Also, the State Electricity Boards or Distribution companies may be mandated to compulsorily buy the power generated from the waste to energy plants.
इसके साथ ही कचरे से ऊर्जा का उत्पादन करने वाले संयंत्रों से प्राप्त बिजली को अनिवार्य तौर पर खरीदने की जिम्मेदारी राज्य विद्युत बोर्डों अथवा वितरण कंपनियों को सौंपी जा सकती है।
(17). Provision of tax exemptions by the Centre and the State Governments to the private sector for setting up waste processing facilities to make waste processing a viable activity.
(17). कचरा प्रसंस्करण इकाइयों की स्थापना के लिए निजी क्षेत्र को केन्द्र सरकार एवं राज्य सरकार द्वारा कर छूट देने का प्रावधान किया जा सकता है, ताकि कचरा प्रसंस्करण को लाभप्रद बनाया जा सके।
