जो लोग क़यामत के दिन अपने अपने मोहसिनों के बल जहन्नुम में हकाए जाएगें वही लोग बदतर जगह में होगें और सब से ज्यादा राह रास्त से भटकने वाले
Those who will be gathered on their faces unto hell such are worse in plight and further from the right road
और अगर हम चाहें तो उनकी ऑंखों पर झाडू फेर दें तो ये लोग राह को पड़े चक्कर लगाते ढूँढते फिरें मगर कहाँ देख पाँएगे
And had We willed We verily could have quenched their eyesight so that they should struggle for the way Then how could they have seen
ऐ रसूल हमने तुम्हारे पास ये किताब क़ुरान सच्चाई के साथ लोगों की हिदायत के वास्ते नाज़िल की है पस जो राह पर आया तो अपने ही भले के लिए और जो गुमराह हुआ तो उसकी गुमराही का वबाल भी उसी पर है और फिर तुम कुछ उनके ज़िम्मेदार तो हो नहीं
Lo We have revealed unto thee Muhammad the Scripture for mankind with truth Then whosoever goeth right it is for his soul and whosoever strayeth strayeth only to its hurt And thou art not a warder over them
जिसने तुम लोगों के वास्ते ज़मीन का बिछौना बनाया और फिर उसमें तुम्हारे नफ़े के लिए रास्ते बनाए ताकि तुम राह मालूम करो
Who made the earth a resting place for you and placed roads for you therein that haply ye may find your way
हमें राह दिखा देना ज़रूर है

और सिर्फ उन्हीं को नहीं बल्कि उनके बाप दादाओं और उनकी औलाद और उनके भाई बन्दों में से बहुतेरों को और उनके मुन्तख़िब किया और उन्हें सीधी राह की हिदायत की
and from among their fathers their descendants and brethren—We chose them and guided them to a straight path
फ़रमाया अच्छा मंजूर तुझे ज़रूर मोहलत दी गयी कहने लगा चूँकि तूने मेरी राह मारी तो मैं भी तेरी सीधी राह पर बनी आदम को गुमराह करने के लिए ताक में बैठूं तो सही
As You have consigned me to perversity he said I will surely lie in wait for them on Your straight path
और गुनेहगार लोग देखकर समझ जाएँगें कि ये इसमें सोके जाएँगे और उससे गरीज़ बचने की की राह न पाएँगें
The guilty will sight the Fire and know that they are about to fall in it for they will find no way to escape it
फिर जब वे दोनों संगम पर पहुँचे तो वे अपनी मछली से ग़ाफ़िल हो गए और उस मछली ने दरिया में सुरंह बनाती अपनी राह ली
So when they reached the confluence between them they forgot their fish which found its way into the sea sneaking away
ख्वाह अगर मुलाक़ात न हो तो बरसों यूँ ही चलता जाऊँगा फिर जब ये दोनों उन दोनों दरियाओं के मिलने की जगह पहुँचे तो अपनी भुनी हुई मछली छोड़ चले तो उसने दरिया में सुरंग बनाकर अपनी राह ली
So when they reached the confluence between them they forgot their fish which found its way into the sea sneaking away
