और जो कुरान मैंने नाज़िल किया वह उस किताब तौरेत की भी तसदीक़ करता हूँ जो तुम्हारे पास है और तुम सबसे चले उसके इन्कार पर मौजूद न हो जाओ और मेरी आयतों के बदले थोड़ी क़ीमत दुनयावी फायदा न लो और मुझ ही से डरते रहो

ऐ अहले किताब तुम इबराहीम के बारे में ख्वाह मा ख्वाह क्यों झगड़ते हो कि कोई उनको नसरानी कहता है कोई यहूदी हालॉकि तौरेत व इन्जील जिनसे यहूद व नसारा की इब्तेदा है वह तो उनके बाद ही नाज़िल हुई
People of the Book Why do you dispute with us about Abraham even though the Torah and the Gospel were not revealed until after the time of Abraham Do you not understand
मुसलमानो अहले किताब से एक गिरोह ने बहुत चाहा कि किसी तरह तुमको राहेरास्त से भटका दे हालॉकि वह अपनी तदबीरों से तुमको तो नहीं मगर अपने ही को भटकाते हैं
A party of the People of the Book would fain lead you astray whereas in truth they lead none astray except themselves but they do not realize it
ऐ अहले किताब तुम क्यो हक़ व बातिल को गड़बड़ करते और हक़ को छुपाते हो हालॉकि तुम जानते हो
People of the Book Why do you confound Truth with falsehood and why do you conceal the Truth knowingly
क्या तुमने उन लोगों को नहीं देखा जिन्हें सौभाग्य प्रदान हुआ था अर्थात किताब दी गई थी वे पथभ्रष्टता के खरीदार बने हुए है और चाहते है कि तुम भी रास्ते से भटक जाओ
Have you not seen those to whom a portion of the Book was given They purchased error for themselves and wish that you too lose the right way

क्या तुमने उन लोगों को नहीं देखा जिन्हें किताब का एक हिस्सा दिय् गया वे अवास्तविक चीज़ो और ताग़ूत बढ़ हुए सरकश को मानते है और अधर्मियों के विषय में कहते है ये ईमानवालों से बढ़कर मार्ग पर है

और ऐ मुशरेकीन ये किताब हमने इसलिए नाज़िल की कि तुम कहीं यह कह बैठो कि हमसे पहले किताब ख़ुदा तो बस सिर्फ दो ही गिरोहों यहूद व नसारा पर नाज़िल हुई थी अगरचे हम तो उनके पढ़ने पढ़ाने से बेखबर थे
You may no longer say now that the Book was revealed only to two groups of people before Us and that we had indeed been unaware of what they read
कि कहीं ऐसा न हो कि तुम कहने लगो किताब तो केवल हमसे पहले के दो गिरोहों पर उतारी गई थी और हमें तो उनके पढ़ने पढ़ाने की ख़बर तक न थी
You may no longer say now that the Book was revealed only to two groups of people before Us and that we had indeed been unaware of what they read
और जो लोग किताब ख़ुदा को मज़बूती से पकड़े हुए हैं और पाबन्दी से नमाज़ अदा करते हैं उन्हें उसका सवाब ज़रूर मिलेगा क्योंकि हम हरगिज़ नेकोकारो का सवाब बरबाद नहीं करते
Those who hold fast to the Book and establish Prayer We shall not allow the reward of such righteous men to go to waste
और जो लोग किताब को मज़बूती से थामते है और जिन्होंने नमाज़ क़ायम कर रखी है तो काम को ठीक रखनेवालों के प्रतिदान को हम कभी अकारथ नहीं करते
