अल्लाह जो कुछ चाहता है मिटा देता है। इसी तरह वह क़ायम भी रखता है। मूल किताब तो स्वयं उसी के पास है
Allah makes to pass away and establishes what He pleases, and with Him is the basis of the Book.
और इस किताब में इबराहीम की चर्चा करो। निस्संदेह वह एक सत्यवान नबी था
Also recount the story of Abraham in the Book. He was a man of truth, and a prophet.
हालांकि उसे अंधविश्वास था कि जब भी वह किताब खोलेगा उसे कोई न कोई महत्त्वपूर्ण जानकारी अवश्य मिलेगी, मगर उसने इस विचार को फिलहाल छोड़ दिया।
Although the boy had developed a superstition that each time he opened the book he would learn something important, he decided it was an unnecessary burden.
और उनमें सामान्य बेपढ़े भी हैं जिन्हें किताब का ज्ञान नहीं है, बस कुछ कामनाओं एवं आशाओं को धर्म जानते हैं, और वे तो बस अटकल से काम लेते हैं
Among them are heathens who know nothing of the Book but only what they wish to believe, and are only lost in fantasies.
और उनमें सामान्य बेपढ़े भी हैं जिन्हें किताब का ज्ञान नहीं है, बस कुछ कामनाओं एवं आशाओं को धर्म जानते हैं, और वे तो बस अटकल से काम लेते हैं
Among them are unlettered folk who know the Scripture not except from hearsay. They but guess.

और याद करो जब मूसा को हमने किताब और कसौटी प्रदान की, ताकि तुम मार्ग पा सको
And (remember) when We gave Musa (Moses) the Scripture [ the Taurat (Torah) ] and the criterion (of right and wrong) so that you may be guided aright.
और हमने उसे इसहाक़ और याक़ूब प्रदान किए और उसकी संतति में नुबूवत (पैग़म्बरी) और किताब का सिलसिला जारी किया और हमने उसे संसार में भी उसका अच्छा प्रतिदान प्रदान किया। और निश्चय ही वह आख़िरत में अच्छे लोगों में से होगा
And We bestowed Ishaq and Yaqub to him, and kept the Prophethood and the Book among his descendants, and We gave him his reward in the world; and in the Hereafter he is indeed among those who deserve Our proximity.
इसमे शक नहीं कि वह ग़ालिब (और) हिकमत वाला है और हमने इबराहीम को इसहाक़ (सा बेटा) और याक़ूब (सा पोता) अता किया और उनकी नस्ल में पैग़म्बरी और किताब क़रार दी और हम न इबराहीम को दुनिया में भी अच्छा बदला अता किया और वह तो आख़ेरत में भी यक़ीनी नेको कारों से हैं
And We bestowed Ishaq and Yaqub to him, and kept the Prophethood and the Book among his descendants, and We gave him his reward in the world; and in the Hereafter he is indeed among those who deserve Our proximity.
