हमने प्रत्येक मनुष्य का शकुन-अपशकुन उसकी अपनी गरदन से बाँध दिया है और क़ियामत के दिन हम उसके लिए एक किताब निकालेंगे, जिसको वह खुला हुआ पाएगा
And to every human? We have fastened to him his bird of deeds upon his neck; and on the Day of Resurrection We shall bring forth to him a book spread open wide.
हम किसी व्यक्ति पर उसकी समाई (क्षमता) से बढ़कर ज़िम्मेदारी का बोझ नहीं डालते और हमारे पास एक किताब है, जो ठीक-ठीक बोलती है, और उनपर ज़ुल्म नहीं किया जाएगा
And we task not any soul beyond its scope, and with Us is a Record which speaketh the truth, and they will not be wronged.
और याद करो जब मूसा को हमने किताब और कसौटी प्रदान की, ताकि तुम मार्ग पा सको
And when We gave Moses the Book and the Criterion so that you might be guided.
और याद करो जब मूसा को हमने किताब और कसौटी प्रदान की, ताकि तुम मार्ग पा सको
And when We gave Musa the Book and the distinction that you might walk aright.
और याद करो जब मूसा को हमने किताब और कसौटी प्रदान की, ताकि तुम मार्ग पा सको
And when We gave to Moses the Book and the Salvation, that haply you should be guided.

And when We gave unto Moses the Scripture and the criterion (of right and wrong), that ye might be led aright.
और जब उनके पास खुदा की तरफ से रसूल (मोहम्मद) आया और उस किताब (तौरेत) की जो उनके पास है तसदीक़ भी करता है तो उन अहले किताब के एक गिरोह ने किताबे खुदा को अपने पसे पुश्त फेंक दिया गोया वह लोग कुछ जानते ही नहीं और उस मंत्र के पीछे पड़ गए
And when there came to them a messenger from God, confirming what they had, a faction of those who were given the Book threw the Book of God behind their backs, as if they do not know.
और जब उनके पास अल्लाह की ओर से एक रसूल आया, जिससे उस (भविष्यवाणी) की पुष्टि हो रही है जो उनके पास थी, तो उनके एक गिरोह ने, जिन्हें किताब मिली थी, अल्लाह की किताब को अपने पीठ पीछे डाल दिया, मानो वे कुछ जानते ही नही
