या जब वह यातना देखे तो कहने लगे काश मुझे एक बार फिर लौटकर जाना हो तो मैं उत्तमकारों में सम्मिलित हो जाऊँ

फिरऔन और हामान और क़ारून के पास भेजा तो वह लोग कहने लगे कि ये तो एक बड़ा झूठा और जादूगर है

तो जो शख्स दर पर्दा ईमान ला चुका था कहने लगा भाईयों मुझे तो तुम्हारी निस्बत भी और उम्मतों की तरह रोज़ बद का अन्देशा है
And he who believed said O my people surely I fear for you the like of what befell the parties

और कुफ्फ़ार कहने लगे कि इस क़ुरान को सुनो ही नहीं और जब पढ़ें तो इसके बीच में ग़ुल मचा दिया करो ताकि इस तरकीब से तुम ग़ालिब आ जाओ

किन्तु जब वह हक़ लेकर उनके पास आया तो वे कहने लगे यह तो जादू है और हम तो इसका इनकार करते है

और कहने लगे कि ये क़ुरान इन दो बस्तियों मक्के ताएफ में से किसी बड़े आदमी पर क्यों नहीं नाज़िल किया गया

फिर उन्होंने उसकी ओर से मुँह मोड़ लिया और कहने लगे यह तो एक सिखाया पढ़ाया दीवाना है
Yet they turned their backs on him and said One taught by others a madman
