फिरऔन और हामान और क़ारून के पास भेजा तो वह लोग कहने लगे कि ये तो एक बड़ा झूठा और जादूगर है
to the Pharaoh Haman and Korah who said He is only a lying magician
तो जो शख्स दर पर्दा ईमान ला चुका था कहने लगा भाईयों मुझे तो तुम्हारी निस्बत भी और उम्मतों की तरह रोज़ बद का अन्देशा है
The believing man said I am afraid that you will face a terrible day like that of the groups
और कहने लगे जिस चीज़ की तरफ तुम हमें बुलाते हो उससे तो हमारे दिल पर्दों में हैं कि दिल को नहीं लगती और हमारे कानों में गिर्दानी बहरापन है कि कुछ सुनायी नहीं देता और हमारे तुम्हारे दरमियान एक पर्दा हायल है तो तुम अपना काम करो हम अपना काम करते हैं
They say Our hearts are covered against and our ears are deaf to whatever you Muhammad invite us to There is a barrier between us and you So act as you please and we shall act as we please
फिर उन्होंने उसकी ओर से मुँह मोड़ लिया और कहने लगे यह तो एक सिखाया पढ़ाया दीवाना है

फिर जब उन्होंने उसे बादल के रूप में देखा जिसका रुख़ उनकी घाटियों की ओर था तो वे कहने लगे यह बादल है जो हमपर बरसनेवाला है नहीं बल्कि यह तो वही चीज़ है जिसके लिए तुमने जल्दी मचा रखी थी यह वायु है जिसमें दुखद यातना है
When they saw the torment as a cloud proceeding to their valleys they said This cloud will bring us rain He said No it is the torment which you wanted to suffer immediately It is a wind bearing and painful torment
तो जब उन लोगों ने इस अज़ाब को देखा कि वबाल की तरह उनके मैदानों की तरफ उम्ड़ा आ रहा है तो कहने लगे ये तो बादल है जो हम पर बरस कर रहेगा नहीं बल्कि ये वह अज़ाब जिसकी तुम जल्दी मचा रहे थे ये वह ऑंधी है जिसमें दर्दनाक अज़ाब है

और याद करो ऐ नबी जब हमने कुछ जिन्नों को तुम्हारी ओर फेर दिया जो क़ुरआन सुनने लगे थे तो जब वे वहाँ पहुँचे तो कहने लगे चुप हो जाओ फिर जब वह क़ुरआन का पाठ पूरा हुआ तो वे अपनी क़ौम की ओर सावधान करनेवाले होकर लौटे
We turned a party of jinn towards you to listen to the Quran When they attended a Quranic recitation they said to each other Be silent and when it was over they turned back to their people in warning
और जब हमने जिनों में से कई शख़्शों को तुम्हारी तरफ मुतावज्जे किया कि वह दिल लगाकर क़ुरान सुनें तो जब उनके पास हाज़िर हुए तो एक दुसरे से कहने लगे ख़ामोश बैठे सुनते रहो फिर जब पढ़ना तमाम हुआ तो अपनी क़ौम की तरफ़ वापस गए

बल्कि उन्हें तो इस बात पर आश्चर्य हुआ कि उनके पास उन्हीं में से एक सावधान करनेवाला आ गया फिर इनकार करनेवाले कहने लगे यह तो आश्चर्य की बात है
