तब वे उसकी ओर पलटे और कहने लगे वास्तव में ज़ालिम तो तुम्हीं लोग हो

इस पर उन लोगों ने अपने जी में सोचा तो एक दूसरे से कहने लगे बेशक तुम ही लोग खुद बर सरे नाहक़ हो

इन बातों को समझें ख़ाक नहीं बल्कि जो अगले लोग कहते आए वैसी ही बात ये भी कहने लगे

और कुफ्फार कहने लगे कि उनके ऊपर आख़िर क़ुरान का कुल एक ही दफा क्यों नहीं नाज़िल किया गया हमने इस तरह इसलिए नाज़िल किया ताकि तुम्हारे दिल को तस्कीन देते रहें और हमने इसको ठहर ठहर कर नाज़िल किया

वह लोग कहने लगे ऐ नूह अगर तुम अपनी हरकत से बाज़ न आओगे तो ज़रुर संगसार कर दिए जाओगे

वह लोग कहने लगे ख्वाह तुम नसीहत करो या न नसीहत करो हमारे वास्ते सब बराबर है
They said It is the same to us whether you admonish or are not one of the admonishers
तो जब उनके पास हमारे ऑंखें खोल देने वाले मैजिज़े आए तो कहने लगे ये तो खुला हुआ जादू है
So when Our clear signs came to them they said This is clear enchantment
