वह लोग कहने लगे कि ऐ मूसा इस मुल्क में तो बड़े ज़बरदस्त सरकश लोग रहते हैं और जब तक वह लोग इसमें से निकल न जाएं हम तो उसमें कभी पॉव भी न रखेंगे हॉ अगर वह लोग ख़ुद इसमें से निकल जाएं तो अलबत्ता हम ज़रूर जाएंगे

तो उनकी क़ौम के चन्द सरदार जो काफिर थे कहने लगे हम तो बेशक तुमको हिमाक़त में मुब्तिला देखते हैं और हम यक़ीनी तुम को झूठा समझते हैं
Said the eminent ones who disbelieved among his people Indeed we see you in foolishness and indeed we think you are of the liars
फिर हमने बदहाली को ख़ुशहाली में बदल दिया यहाँ तक कि वे ख़ूब फले फूले और कहने लगे ये दुख और सुख तो हमारे बाप दादा को भी पहुँचे हैं अनततः जब वे बेखबर थे हमने अचानक उन्हें पकड़ लिया
Then We exchanged in place of the bad condition good until they increased and prospered and said Our fathers also were touched with hardship and ease So We seized them suddenly while they did not perceive

फिर हमने तकलीफ़ की जगह आराम को बदल दिया यहाँ तक कि वह लोग बढ़ निकले और कहने लगे कि इस तरह की तकलीफ़ व आराम तो हमारे बाप दादाओं को पहुँच चुका है तब हमने उस बढ़ाने के की सज़ा में अचानक उनको अज़ाब में गिरफ्तार किया

तो तू बनी ईसराइल को मेरे हमराह करे दे फिरऔन कहने लगा अगर तुम सच्चे हो और वाक़ई कोई मौजिज़ा लेकर आए हो तो उसे दिखाओ
Pharaoh said If you have come with a sign then bring it forth if you should be of the truthful
अतएव जादूगर फ़िरऔन के पास आ गए कहने लगे यदि हम विजयी हुए तो अवश्य ही हमें बड़ा बदला मिलेगा
And the magicians came to Pharaoh They said Indeed for us is a reward if we are the predominant
ग़रज़ जादूगर सब फिरऔन के पास हाज़िर होकर कहने लगे कि अगर हम मूसा से जीत जाएं तो हमको बड़ा भारी इनाम ज़रुर मिलना चाहिए
And the magicians came to Pharaoh They said Indeed for us is a reward if we are the predominant
और फिरऔन के लोग मूसा से एक मरतबा कहने लगे कि तुम हम पर जादू करने के लिए चाहे जितनी निशानियाँ लाओ मगर हम तुम पर किसी तरह ईमान नहीं लाएँगें
And they said No matter what sign you bring us with which to bewitch us we will not be believers in you
