And whosoever earnoth a sin, only against his own soul he earnoth it; and Allah is ever Knowing, Wise.
और जो व्यक्ति गुनाह कमाए, तो वह अपने ही लिए कमाता है। अल्लाह तो सर्वज्ञ, तत्वदर्शी है
And whosoever of you is submissive unto Allah and His messenger and doeth right, We shall give her her reward twice over, and We have prepared for her a rich provision.
किन्तु तुममें से जो अल्लाह और उसके रसूल के प्रति निष्ठापूर्वक आज्ञाकारिता की नीति अपनाए और अच्छा कर्म करे, उसे हम दोहरा प्रतिदान प्रदान करेंगे और उसके लिए हमने सम्मानपूर्ण आजीविका तैयार कर रखी है
And whosoever of you shall be obedient unto Allah and His apostle and shall work righteously, her hire We shall give her twice over, and We have gotten ready for her a generous provision.
किन्तु तुममें से जो अल्लाह और उसके रसूल के प्रति निष्ठापूर्वक आज्ञाकारिता की नीति अपनाए और अच्छा कर्म करे, उसे हम दोहरा प्रतिदान प्रदान करेंगे और उसके लिए हमने सम्मानपूर्ण आजीविका तैयार कर रखी है
And whosoever strives, he strives only for himself. Verily, Allah is free of all wants from the' Alamin (mankind, jinns, and all that exists).
और जो शख्स (इबादत में) कोशिश करता है तो बस अपने ही वास्ते कोशिश करता है (क्योंकि) इसमें तो शक ही नहीं कि ख़ुदा सारे जहाँन (की इबादत) से बेनियाज़ है
And whosoever strives, he strives only for himself. Verily, Allah is free of all wants from the' Alamin (mankind, jinns, and all that exists).
और जो व्यक्ति (अल्लाह के मार्ग में) संघर्ष करता है वह तो स्वयं अपने ही लिए संघर्ष करता है। निश्चय ही अल्लाह सारे संसार से निस्पृह है

And whosoever striveth, striveth only for himself, for lo! Allah is altogether Independent of (His) creatures.
और जो व्यक्ति (अल्लाह के मार्ग में) संघर्ष करता है वह तो स्वयं अपने ही लिए संघर्ष करता है। निश्चय ही अल्लाह सारे संसार से निस्पृह है
And whosoever takes Allah , His Messenger, and those who have believed, as Protectors, then the party of Allah will be the victorious.
अब जो कोई अल्लाह और उसके रसूल और ईमानवालों को अपना मित्र बनाए, तो निश्चय ही अल्लाह का गिरोह प्रभावी होकर रहेगा
And whosoever takes Allah , His Messenger, and those who have believed, as Protectors, then the party of Allah will be the victorious.
और जिस शख्स ने ख़ुदा और रसूल और (उन्हीं) ईमानदारों को अपना सरपरस्त बनाया तो (ख़ुदा के लशकर में आ गया और) इसमें तो शक नहीं कि ख़ुदा ही का लशकर वर (ग़ालिब) रहता है
And why should Allah not punish them, when they have barred others from the Sacred Mosque, although they were not its guardians? Its only guardians are the cautious, though most of them do not know.
किन्तु अब क्या है उनके पास कि अल्लाह उन्हें यातना न दे, जबकि वे ' मस्जिदे हराम ' (काबा) से रोकते है, हालाँकि वे उसके कोई व्यवस्थापक नहीं? उसके व्यवस्थापक तो केवल डर रखनेवाले ही है, परन्तु उनके अधिकतर लोग जानते नहीं
And why should they wish to be judged by you, when they have the Taurat with them, in which exist the commands of Allah and yet they turn away from it? And they will not accept faith.
और जब ख़ुद उनके पास तौरेत है और उसमें ख़ुदा का हुक्म (मौजूद) है तो फिर तुम्हारे पास फैसला कराने को क्यों आते हैं और (लुत्फ़ तो ये है कि) इसके बाद फिर (तुम्हारे हुक्म से) फिर जाते हैं ओर सच तो यह है कि यह लोग ईमानदार ही नहीं हैं
