And do not be surprised at their wealth or their children; Allah only wills to torment them with it in this world, and that they pass away upon disbelief.
और उनके माल और उनकी औलाद (की कसरत) तुम्हें ताज्जुब (हैरत) में न डाले (क्योकि) ख़ुदा तो बस ये चाहता है कि दुनिया में भी उनके माल और औलाद की बदौलत उनको अज़ाब में मुब्तिला करे और उनकी जान निकालने लगे तो उस वक्त भी ये काफ़िर (के काफ़िर ही) रहें

और उनके माल और उनकी औलाद तुम्हें मोहित न करें। अल्लाह तो बस यह चाहता है कि उनके द्वारा उन्हें संसार में यातना दे और उनके प्राण इस दशा में निकलें कि वे काफ़िर हों
And do not call besides Allah on that which can neither benefit you nor harm you, for if you do then surely you will in that case be of the unjust.
और ख़ुदा को छोड़ ऐसी चीज़ को पुकारना जो न तुझे नफा ही पहुँचा सकती हैं न नुक़सान ही पहुँचा सकती है तो अगर तुमने (कहीं ऐसा) किया तो उस वक्त तुम भी ज़ालिमों में (शुमार) होगें
And do not call besides Allah on that which can neither benefit you nor harm you, for if you do then surely you will in that case be of the unjust.
और अल्लाह से हटकर उसे न पुकारो जो न तुम्हें लाभ पहुँचाए और न तुम्हें हानि पहुँचा सके और न तुम्हारा बुरा कर सके, क्योंकि यदि तुमने ऐसा किया तो उस समय तुम अत्याचारी होगे
And do not grieve at their speech (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him); indeed all honour is for Allah and He is the All Hearing, the All Knowing.
और (ऐ रसूल) उन (कुफ्फ़ार) की बातों का तुम रंज न किया करो इसमें तो शक़ नहीं कि सारी इज्ज़त तो सिर्फ ख़ुदा ही के लिए है वही सबकी सुनता जानता है

उनकी बात तुम्हें दुखी न करे, सारा प्रभुत्व अल्लाह ही के लिए है, वह सुनता, जानता है
And do not invoke with Allah another deity. There is no deity except Him. Everything will be destroyed except His Face. His is the judgement, and to Him you will be returned.
और ख़ुदा के सिवा किसी और माबूद की परसतिश न करना उसके सिवा कोई क़ाबिले परसतिश नहीं उसकी ज़ात के सिवा हर चीज़ फना होने वाली है उसकी हुकूमत है और तुम लोग उसकी तरफ़ (मरने के बाद) लौटाये जाओगे

और अल्लाह के साथ किसी और इष्ट - पूज्य को न पुकारना। उसके सिवा कोई इष्ट - पूज्य नहीं। हर चीज़ नाशवान है सिवास उसके स्वरूप के। फ़ैसला और आदेश का अधिकार उसी को प्राप्त है और उसी की ओर तुम सबको लौटकर जाना है
And do not make [ as equal ] with Allah another deity. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner.
और ख़ुदा के साथ दूसरा माबूद न बनाओ मैं तुमको यक़ीनन उसकी तरफ से खुल्लम खुल्ला डराने वाला हूँ

और अल्लाह के साथ कोई दूसरा पूज्य-प्रभु न ठहराओ। मैं उसकी ओर से तुम्हारे लिए एक प्रत्यक्ष सावधान करनेवाला हूँ
